Moving your car with Auto Shipping

Filed under: Auto — admin @ 6:10 pm

If you need to ship your car, there are several factors you should look at when you choose your auto shipping company. There are many car transport companies that offer their services for shipping your automobile anywhere in the world but when it comes to your automobile you want to be sure you are getting a quality car transport company that can deliver your car without problems. The following tips are a good start to knowing how to choose a quality auto shipper designed to help you begin to look for an auto shipping company with confidence.

Be Sure About Insurance

First and most in importance you should ask about insurance. Both you and your auto shipping company should have insurance in the case of an accident during transport or accidental damage to your car. In fact, quality auto shippers won’t ship your automobile without insurance so watch out for vehicle shipping companies who don’t ask for proof of insurance and don’t offer you proof of theirs.

Know the Laws

Make sure you know the laws in both the country where your vehicle is being moved from as well as the laws where your auto is being shipped to. For example, if you are shipping a car overseas you absolutely cannot have any loose items in your car whether they are personal or household goods. Leaving items in your car can cause problems in customs so make certain you clean your automobile out well before it is shipped.
If you are shipping your car from Massachusetts to Florida you need to be aware of the state laws in both states. You auto shipper should be able to help you understand these laws especially if they specialize in shipping to Florida or Massachusetts (or any state). Your auto shipping company should also be able to explain to you in detail how overseas shipping works including the process customs use and how long it will take. If your auto shipper can’t provide details you probably should look for one who does.

Keep in contact

When you use a car transport company to ship your car they should be able to tell you where your car is at each stage of the transport process. This will not only eliminate confusion about when and where you need to pick your car up it will also put your mind at ease especially if you are shipping a car with exceptional monetary or sentimental value.
You should also be able to call the car transport company and ask questions about delivery and transport. If your company doesn’t confirm that they will keep in contact throughout the shipping process you should look for a company who can confirm that they do. Choosing a quality auto shipping company can be easy if you look for these qualities.

The Reality of Learning Real Estate

Filed under: Business — admin @ 8:13 pm

The real estate market is one of the most exciting industries in the world. One of the reasons it is so exciting is that it is constantly changing, and each transaction is different. Real estate professionals need to stay abreast of current changes and procedures in order to stay in compliance, and become successful in their market. There are many real estate appraisal courses available to anyone wanting to learn about the industry, and knowing what to look for will save you time and money in the long run while providing you with the best education possible.

First, consider a real estate appraisal course. Learning about the appraisal process will solidify your relationship with the buyers and sellers, and position you as an expert in the real estate field. When choosing an appraisal course, look for one that is specific to the market in which you will be selling. Each state has it’s own set of guidelines and procedures, and you will need to be familiar with the nuances of each. Online course are convenient and typically cost effective, but may not be up to date on your particular state’s rules. Make sure to ask how often the materials are updated, and where the information comes from in any real estate appraisal course. If the content is not updated at least twice per year, then you need to look elsewhere for a course. You may have to spend a bit more money, but it will be well worth it in the long run since you will have the most current information, and will not get into trouble during the appraisal process.

Next, you will want to research who will be teaching the course. Online or in person, the most important thing to consider is accessibility to the instructor. You will most likely have questions during the training process, and will need to have contact with the teacher. Make sure that the instructor is licensed and has a successful track record by asking for their credentials, and a list of references. The real estate appraisal process is somewhat of an art in addition to being a science, and the more experience an instructor has, then the more you will learn from them.

Finally, you will want to contact your local board of realtors and ask them what is required to be a professional real estate appraiser. You will want to make sure that the real estate appraisal course you take meets their requirements in addition to those of the state. They will most likely have some great recommendations on the type of courses to take, and should share any suggestions of where to take them. Since the board of realtors is made up of not only appraisers and realtors, but contractors, builders, inspectors, lawmakers, and others involved in the real estate process, they may have some added insight as to what you will need to know.

The need for reliable and professional real estate appraisers continues to grow, and with the right education, you can not only create a great career, but provide a much needed service to consumers!

Tourists approaching St. Paul suddenly desperate for windshield repair

Filed under: Auto — admin @ 1:20 am

We had planned for weeks to spend a great weekend in St. Paul, Minnesota; it has so much to offer! We wanted to see the sights and take time to soak up the atmosphere. St. Paul is famous for its many museums, and a big chunk of our time would be visiting as many as we could fit in.
About an hour short of St. Paul, a huge stone crashed into our windshield and shattered it. We were not hurt, but we needed to have it fixed before we could continue our trip. We had no idea where to go to get the auto glass repaired or replaced in this city, which we had never visited before.
We stopped at the nearest gas station to ask for advice and get an idea on where to go to get the windshield repaired. We were grateful that they directed us to an auto glass repair shop just few miles away.
After arriving at the repairers we were ushered to a waiting room equipped with a television, coffee machine and magazines. We got some very much needed coffee and sat down next to a table that displayed some brochures on windshield repair and replacement of auto glass. We learned that this particular repairer uses genuine OEM parts that are fitted by qualified installers, and that this particular company was backed by a national lifetime warranty. The literature proclaimed that they meet the strict auto glass industry standards and compliances required by law.
A shop foreman came in to brief us about what our cars’ requirements were. He also advised us that he could replace the windshield today, but it would to take a few hours for him to do the necessary work to prepare the car for installation of the replacement windshield. We really didn’t have any choice in the matter; the car desperately needed that windshield. However, we really didn’t feel like sitting in this stuffy waiting room all day. A little research unearthed the fact that we were not too far from the city and we found we could catch a bus to the heart of St. Paul. We could get a head start on some sightseeing and enjoy a leisurely lunch. St Paul, Minnesota at last! We were eager to see just how great it is! We would even have time to check out some of the landmarks in the downtown area.
One of our earmarks was to visit the Minnesota Museum of American Art and attend their famous Patio Night party event. That’s one of the reasons for going to St. Paul! Every Thursday evening they feature a local band, and one can enjoy some really great music on the patio, which has an incredible view of the great Mississippi River. The Museum also sports a snack bar where one can grab a sandwich or some chips and salsa.

We had taken the time we were waiting for the windshield to be repaired at the windshield replacement shop to plan our tour of the city’s offerings, as well as familiarize ourselves with the city. Later, when we went back to pick up the car we were seasoned tourists! We knew how to how to get back to the Museum, find a place to park the car, and still be in time for the evening’s event!
When we arrived back at the auto glass replacement facility the repair had been completed and our car was waiting for us. All we had to do was pay for the repair and be on our way. So the day wasn’t a total loss after all in spite of the shattered windshield!. Guess what? We had a fantastic evening! The feature of the Patio Night event that evening was a blues group! – our favorite!

SNORKELING FROM A RENTAL BOAT IN FLORIDA’S KEYS

Filed under: Entertainment — admin @ 2:43 am

Some of our friends recently took a trip to Belize in order to view the archeological ruins, but when they got back home we were surprised that all they could talk about was their experience in shallow diving off the coast. It was an enchanted kingdom they described to us - fish they had never seen before and rock formation and underwater vegetation of surprising beauty and variety. It was a fantasy world they were telling us about, and their enthusiasm was bubbling over - it was contagious! We couldn’t wait to change our vacation plans from rock climbing in the Rockies to snorkeling somewhere. That took some research. We discovered that there was a marine sanctuary that surrounded the archipelago of Florida Key West. And that snorkeling was a popular activity in that area.. The only live coral reef in the American continent ran parallel to the islands that formed the Key West archipelago, some 150 miles of it.

It was a real break that we both loved to swim and were game to learn the basics of shallow diving. The excitement we found underwater was riveting. Boats of all descriptions had foundered in these waters and the ocean floor was littered with wreckages old and new. Since snorkeling was our goal, we decided to use a rental boat for the adventure. We settled on a 20-foot guest boat that we could use for a several day trip around the reef.
Florida_Keys_rental_boats_are_an_excellent_value_for_groups What we didn’t know was that swimming with dolphins was part of the package for most snorkelers. This partnership of human/dolphin/coral reef was intriguing. The dolphins seemed anxious to play with us in the water, sort of like our Schnauzer, Mike, at home who thought all life was intended to be a game. The openness of the dolphins was new to us. We had heard of dolphins swimming with humans from some New Age type friends, but we hadn’t recognized the extent to which this partnership was working. Swimming with dolphins by your side was something we hadn’t ever dreamed of, but we found it was great fun.

Another thing that surprised us about the coral reefs was that they were the graveyard of a lot of ships, some dating from before the Civil War and some very recent ones. Of course a lot of these had been explored many times, but it was still interesting to see the artifacts and the construction of these ancient vessels and some modern ones, too. We also saw the famous bronze statue of the Christ, apparently made for the purpose of being submerged among the ruins of sunken ships, blessing this graveyard of those who went down with them.

FL Keys boat rental was a great idea and it was great that we spent our vacation time this year miles from where we originally intended, snorkeling among sunken ships, eating our own fresh catch seafood which we cooked on our own boat, sightseeing on land as well as water, and just relaxing on the beaches under tropical palms.

Underappreciated restaurant furniture

Filed under: Business — admin @ 10:02 pm

When we enter a restaurant we are often oblivious to amount of hard work, dedication and money restaurant owners put into making their restaurants customer comfortable and customer friendly. We are all often ungrateful for the owner’s dedication to provide us with a comfortable dining environment. I rarely consider the money and tedious thought process required to shopping for appropriate restaurant furniture. While eating out we are critical about the cleanliness of the restaurant furniture while rarely considering the effort it took just give us access to such luxuries. Even while at a crowded mall we are often ungrateful for the availability of food court furniture. We frequently overlook the benefits of having professional grade furniture at our disposal. We generally fail to understand the difficulties of maintaining available restaurant furniture in an area with such heavy commercial traffic. Without a restaurant table where would we put our food and drinks?

Can you imagine a world where all streets and sidewalks around restaurants are covered with ridiculous litter? Without site furnishings this would be reality. We would have no where to dispose of our litter which would result in scummy eyesores while doing long term harm to the environment. With no commercial outdoor furniture we would be forced to eat inside instead of outside in the relaxing breeze. We would no longer be able to relax outside a restaurant while reading the daily paper. Without available indoor and outdoor seating restaurants, movie theaters, sports stadiums, and parks would likely be deserted. Restaurant furniture gives us more than we can really imagine because we hardly even think about it.

The importance of site furnishings, especially trash cans and ash trays, is often overlooked until we actually need one. As soon as we have something to throw away but are unable to find such site furnishings we quickly realize how ungrateful we normally act. Everyone acts this way not just people from a particular country or state. Like the old saying goes “we don’t know how to good we have it until it is gone”. If restaurant furniture and site furnishings were to disappear society would quickly realize how ungrateful we can be. Trash cans are readily available yet many of us fail to use them. Ash trays are placed into the most convenient of places yet many smokers are too lazy to use them.

Restaurant owners often find that the process of selecting the perfect restaurant furniture quickly becomes overwhelming. The thought process required to accomplish such a task is tedious. There are tons of different factors the owner must consider including their budget, available space, restaurant style, and comfort levels. Making one simple mistake can have a devastating effect. Owners must determine the space available and then the size of the restaurant furniture. The amount of space available and the amount of restaurant furniture in a restaurant will set the maximum customer capacity of the restaurant which is a very important factor to success. The next time you sit down at a restaurant or throw something away consider and respect the hard work it took to make those items available to you.

Google Index Dumps. Why Search Engines Do That

Filed under: Internet — admin @ 1:02 am

It seems like Google has made a new massive data dump of its index. As usual many good websites suffered from their search positions going down. Many webmasters and website owners are concerned about what to do to get back to normal state of affairs.
I would advise not to panic and not to make wrong steps. Revise your link building strategy; make sure your site is not linked from obviously spammer sites and bad neighborhood sites; add new unique content; if possible, get few new related links and wait. Usually things get to normal in a month-two.

Being an engineer and a SEO specialist I understand what a huge task it is to be a leader in the Internet search as Google is. The task of providing users with the most related content on so many different subjects is enormously complicated. Spammer’s attempts to manipulate search results make it times more complex. We hear so many talks about Google being “the worth evil”. All because of somebody’s website going down it search results. Yes, it happens! But how many of you managed to win the war with email spam coming to your personal email account? Can you say that all the spam you get automatically goes to the trash and all valid messages to the incoming folder? Are you sure that you never missed a message you waited for because it landed in the trash just because it has a “suspicious” word in the subject? If you can answer, “yes” to these questions, you probably know how to build a better search engine than Google has.

The task of data indexing and search is a multidimensional task with more unknown components than known. There is no way to make a simple logic decision - yes or no; whether to include a site in search results or not; whether to put it higher or lower in the reference to another site. The answer will always be multidimensional as well as the task.

Nobody really expects to see an answer to their query in a search engine on the first line. The search engine gives you a massive of links for your further manual research and judgment. Different people will choose different website(s) from the list as satisfactory results to the same search query. That means that there is simply no answer to the question of which website or webpage is the most related to a certain search query or a certain keyword. So why to expect your website to always be at the same position? It is, actually, natural for search positions of the same site to fluctuate with time with no visible reason.

If you are interested in discussing the subject further I am ready and willing to do so.
Please, contact me through www.TrafficSpa.com website. Go to the Contact Us page and submit a ticket with your ideas or your message. We will open a public discussion on interesting subjects or will have a private email exchange with you.

Sincerely,

Send and Receive Faxes using Email

Filed under: Business — admin @ 1:30 am

Are you fed up with expenses and hassles associated with a fax machine and desperately thinking of an alternative medium through which you can send and receive copies of documents and records?
It seems a solution to your problems is near at hand.
Now you can send and receive faxes using email. So the need for an extra phone line is gone for good and so is the constant pain of paying too much for your online fax service. All that you need now is an email address and internet connection.

Let’s see how this magic of email to fax actually works.

The first step of course is to subscribe to an online faxing provider. Your provider will immediately provide you with a real fax number (some providers also offer fax numbers of a country of your choice – but that essentially is a matter for you to decide). Now all that you have to do is attach all the documents you need to fax just as you do in an email attachment but, instead of typing in the recipient’s email address in the “To” box, simply type in the fax number of the recipient. Your message along with the attachments reaches the recipient’s desktop fax machine just like any other ordinary fax. So, the essential difference in this new system is instead of using a conventional fax machine or fax server supplies, you fax by email.

Let’s now see what happens when you receive a fax.

The fax number your provider has given you looks and feels like any other ordinary fax number to the sender so you needn’t have to do any explaining whatsoever to your business contacts when you shift to this new system. When you receive an online fax it is delivered in your inbox like an ordinary email with documents faxed included as attachments. You can read, download or take hard copies of those documents according to your requirement.
So the days for interminable waiting for a fax to transmit are finally over. There’s an additional facility as well. You can fax to multiple recipients at one go, simply by including their fax numbers in the “To” box. No more monotonous passing of all the pages of the documents through the fax machine for each recipient!
One other crucial benefit of internet fax is this fax service can be accessed anywhere as long as there is an internet connection. So, you can receive paperless fax messages while on the move and connectivity increases manifold. But there is a downside too.
Your ability to receive fax online also makes you more susceptible to unsolicited faxes. Faxing spam is spreading like an epidemic and authorities have already enacted laws which heavily penalize those who send junk fax to unwilling recipients.
The Junk Fax Prevention Act, enacted on July 9, 2005 by US Congress requires senders of fax advertisements to include a notice and contact information on the cover page informing the recipient how to”opt-out” of any future fax advertisements. It also makes fax broadcaster liable if it is proved that it is actively involved in sending junk faxes.

Real Estate Investing

Filed under: Business — admin @ 6:10 pm

Real estate investing provides investors the opportunity to profit from renting or re-selling property. Individuals interested in becoming real estate investors have two choices in the type of investor they want to be. The first type of real estate investor is an active investor. This type of real estate investor typically buys a property and makes repairs or improvements then sells or rents out the property for a profit. Another type of real estate investor is someone who hires a firm or a company to find and manage an investment property or properties for them. This type of real estate investor is considered a passive investor.

Both beginning and experienced real estate investors can benefit from joining a real estate investors club. A real estate investment club is a place for people interested in or experienced in real estate investing to network with other real estate investors. These real estate investors clubs are a good place for investors to learn from each other and find information on investor loans, real estate investor seminars, real estate investor courses, real estate investor software, etc. Millionaire’s real estate investment clubs are also a good place to find seminars, courses, books and real estate investment how-to information.

Real estate investors clubs generally have a limited number of memberships available and are usually managed by a group of about ten to twenty people. For individuals interested in starting their own real estate investment clubs there are some basic guidelines to follow.
How to start a real estate investors club:
A) Decide what your clubs purpose is
B) Have a monthly meeting date and place
C) Choose a name that fits what your club is about and who it is for
D) Set-up goals for your club
E) Set-up a real estate investor website so that members of your club can easily access tools and information regarding your real estate investors club.

There are clubs available for individuals interested in both residential and commercial real estate investment. Residential real estate investment clubs are designed for individuals interested in investing in properties such as single family homes, duplexes, small apartment buildings, etc. Commercial real estate investment clubs are designed for individuals interested in property used for business purposes, such as malls, industrial parks, gas stations, etc.

Real estate investor seminars and real estate investor courses are usually taught by successful, experienced real estate investors. Interested individuals can find both online and live seminars. Courses are available online, live, in audio format, text format, etc.

There are several types of financing available to those interested in investing in real estate. One example of financing available is from private investors, this type of investor offers financing based on the value of the real estate owned by the borrower. As with any type of financing it is important to thoroughly research your options in order to find the type of financing that best suits your needs.

Choosing the right type of Office Furniture

Filed under: Business — admin @ 2:23 am

Furniture has been a necessity for human beings for a long time. The main purpose of having furniture is to provide comfort to its users. The quality and standard of furniture, nowadays, is also improving. When it comes to office furniture, it can be divided into two basic categories: Home office furniture and corporate office furniture. Styling and products used in both types are different and vary from each other.

Home based businesses are becoming popular among people. Due to its popularity, home office furniture has become very crucial. It allows you to be free in choosing style that suits you and your personality. It should make you feel comfortable. If furniture is properly chosen then it can provide a facilitating environment for running the business and can also provide with all the basic necessities that you require to successfully operate your office business.

Selecting home office furniture requires budget, security and usability. The furniture gives you a choice on design related issues. It can appear to be a casual setup. Space is always an issue when you are running a home based business. There is not enough space to place your office equipment and other office supplies. Therefore, choosing the right design and the right amount of furniture is very essential.

It is highly recommended that you buy furniture from reputed marketers such as staples® office furniture or office depot online (if you want to buy furniture online). If your business is small and you do not need bundles of office chairs or office desks then you can place your orders at discount home office furniture retailers that can be easily located through internet. This is time-saving and cost-effective.

Corporate businesses need to have carefully selected office furniture. Corporate office furniture should consist of a number of office chairs, office desks, computer furniture, desk chairs, wood office chairs and other related furniture to fulfill its business requirement. Luxury offices are provided with suitable furniture like beautiful leather office chairs, executive desks and other such items. Corporate management has many employees and it wants to fit maximum number of people in small spaces; therefore, selecting the right kind of furniture becomes essential.
Office_Furniture
Corporate office furniture should given an impression of a clean and safe environment. It should not be casual and special attention should be paid to the symmetric arrangement of various items. Proper reception furniture should be bought so visitors can be greeted formally and they can get a good first impression. Most corporate offices prefer to make small wooden cubicles to place their employees. However, these cubicles should be beautiful and private so people can work efficiently and productively.

Home office furniture is basically simple, casual, easy to look, cost effective and lesser in quantity. However, Corporate office furniture requires complex designing, excellent outlook and furniture layout because of the sheer scale of business. A good design can help to save space that can be very valuable in commercial market.

Furniture related to important items, like computers, should not be neglected. Computer furniture and other such items are important for both Corporate and Home offices because of comfort and health issues.

The Concrete Bollard

Filed under: Home — admin @ 11:59 pm

Every morning and evening Sam Brighton walked through McArthur Park in his gray suit on his way to and from work. The park reminded him of some place from his childhood years ago. A memory planted in his mind that remained just out of his reach. Long ago he stopped trying to figure out what or where the memory was from, it was no use. He could have asked his mother, but trying to prod anything out of her from his childhood was like pulling teeth.

In the memories he had of the unknown park Sam saw his father, mother and himself sitting at a concrete picnic table, laughing and enjoying a beautiful summer day. Another memory was his father chasing him around enormous planters that were filled with purple and yellow marigolds while his mother watched and laughed. The sun had streamed its bright rays through the branches of the Crepe Myrtle onto the fresh green grass. In another memory they would ask a passerby to take a photo of all three of them while Sam stood on a round concrete bollard with his parents at his side.

Sam was not very sentimental about much; in fact he had no time to be sentimental about anything. He had no serious personal relationships because he worked entirely too much. His mother became cut off, almost catatonic after his father left which pretty much left him alone in the world from the age of six and pretty much filled his heart with hate toward his father. He put himself through college, completely on his own and spent much of his college years making sure his mother didn’t drink herself to death. The only thing that he found he looked forward to in his life anymore was walking through the park past the pink roses and red azaleas that bloomed bright and beautifully.

Every morning Sam noticed the same homeless man perched on a concrete bollard, watching him as he passed. Every time Sam passed by the man mumbled the same words, “I knew you from a long, long time ago.” Sam rolled his eyes in disgust and walked on.

Had the man been there before? Sam wondered. He had never noticed the homeless man on any of his previous treks through the park. But who ever noticed homeless people?

Sam stomped up the concrete steps to his office and chunked his water bottle in the recycle can. As he made his way into his office he instructed his secretary to call the police and inform them of the homeless man who sat on the concrete bollard in McArthur Park every day beside the giant planters filled with red azaleas. Several times after Sam had his secretary call the police on the homeless man, but to no avail. Every day the same homeless man sat on the round concrete bollard in McArthur Park by the giant planter filled with red azaleas. No one would disturb his morning walk, the one and only thing he looked forward to every day.

That day Sam decided to take his lunch out to McArthur Park and eat at one of the concrete picnic tables. He grabbed his brown paper bag and headed out the front doors of his office building, pass the recycling containers and down the steps to the park.

Sam sat his paper bag on the concrete picnic table, opened his sandwich and began to eat. The day was sunny and beautiful. Rays of sunshine beamed down through the tree branches, casting light over the bright green grass and the planters. He took a deep breath and closed his eyes as what little memories he could conjure up came back.

Sam’s thoughts were broken as these words pierced his lovely silence, “I knew you a long, long time ago.”

Sam opened his eyes and found the same homeless man sitting on the concrete bollard near the planter filled with red azaleas. Angrily, he jumped from his spot at the concrete picnic table, tossed his lunch in the recycling container and stormed to the homeless man’s side.

“Every day I walk through this park and every day you say the same thing!”

The man looked at him in pure curiosity.

Sam went on, “You’re a leech on our society. You sit there, begging for money every day while good people go out and work for a living!”

Sam turned to storm away, but stopped when the man responded.

“Do you have any memories of this park, son?”

Sam turned around stunned by the man who sat on the concrete bollard.

“You see, I use to come here every Saturday with my son. But he went away years ago. We would chase each other around the enormous planters filled with marigolds and around the concrete picnic table where his mother sat laughing.”

Sam stared, flabbergasted and waited for the man’s next words.

“His mother took him away from me years ago. So every day I come to this park and wait on this concrete bollard where we once took a family photo, hoping he would return.”

Tears slipped down Sam’s cheeks as the memory of his father came to him. How could he have not seen it? Every day he had walked past this man on the concrete bollard near the giant planter and viewed him as nothing but a nuisance and treated him as though he was not worth acknowledging.

Every day we run our every day lives like we are too busy to notice someone that might be in need of our help. We assume things when we take that first glimpse of someone. If they look unkempt or are homeless we think, “get a job” or “what a drain”. We never stop to think about the stories that go behind every human being, like this one and the concrete bollard.
